This is the first of 4 games in a quadrilogy ( Throwup Club ) for mature audiences 18+ . While this game ( The Wrong Side ) does not contain any sexual or explicit content beyond heavy gore in its final two Discs, the remaining games will. Please plan accordingly.

Tsurine is a PsySpec wrapped up in the intensity of her job, and the delirium that comes with dissociative amnesia. One night, a mysterious woman offers to help recover her lost memories. All Tsurine must do in exchange is hunt down the missing fragments to an unusual key.
Throwup Club is an intricate choice-heavy psychological medicore thriller about an amnesiac facing both real and mental horrors within a world akin to an endless, liminal hospital. The game itself is what I like to call an RCN (Roleplay & Click Novel) - a fusion genre of Visual Novel, RPG, and Point-&-Click games that centers around distressing content and how people choose to cope with trauma. Uncover the secrets of this strange world, and the ones lying within your own forgotten memories. Will you accept your limitations, or will you dive deep into delusion for a chance at hope?

The world of Throwup Club is heavily inspired by the works and the aesthetics of Yami Kawaii, Liminality, Traumacore, and both Modern & Pastel Goth. It features a long, diverse, and dark soundtrack done by lolratz combining elements of Breakcore, Hyperpop, and Witch House music genres.
Throwup Club's Sanitoria is full of disturbing secrets, and widespread mental challenges. Thankfully, you won't have to be alone- Tsurine will have the opportunity of engaging in one of five different major romance routes. Each route and character will offer help in combat, a large influence on the story, and a slowburn yuri romance to tug at your heartstring implants! After all- dark places birth beautiful relationships. Just be wary of those with worse intentions. Where will you draw the lines between circumstance, intention, and abuse?
Throwup Club is tetralogy opera, composed of 4 games, each with 4 "Discs" each. I will release the game one Disc at a time with major updates, each in a completed state. The demo is the entirety of Disc 0. Owning this game prior to the final Disc update means being able to play the Discs as they are completed.

On a more personal note- I'm in a constant fight against a deadly health condition, so any purchases of this game go a long way towards helping me. I rely on a shoddy implant to live that gives me sepsis about once a month (a deadly blood infection). and it's always a huge struggle. I'm currently trying to find alternatives, but I've been dry out of options for a while now. I will continue to work on this game as long as I am able, but I rely on your support to afford proper art for this project, as I'm unable to work a normal job (I cannot leave my home). This game serves as an art piece homage to the medical abuse I've endured over the years, and I hope it helps others with severe conditions feel less alone. HiiiiIII. I played the new update on my channel. I absolutely love the new art and the overall look of this game. I played an older version of this game I while back so it's pretty cool seeing how much it's improved since then. I can't wait to see the rest of game.

yes, lots! there's only one very minor instance of puke in this current release (a little itty bitty one that's noised over) but as the game continues it will feature more and more vomit, including some really explicit and graphic scenes.

I love this game so much it takes up real estate in my brain like I pass by this place that has the word hydroponics on it and my head is like "!!". I fr wish the best for this game and all the lovely ppl involved in its creation, throwup club unironically is such a blessing and that tw list got me like ?! HELLOOO like CHILDBIRTH??? regardless congrats on the notable impact on my brain and if anyone can tell me what the flip is a puffado (i'm not getting that name wrong right?? it's like the thing jicca fed tsurine otw to sterlie in disc 1) thank you cuz it's like the one food in this game i genuinely can't tell if i'd eat or not. yes to the heart burster btw. no to the loopworm vaccine.

I recently finished DISC 1 and i can certainly say that Throwup Club became one of my favourite games ever. In visual novel genre it already became one of the best in my opinion. The story is immersive,all characters are lovable and interesting,the music is enjoyable and the attention in details is a nice surprise for me(getting items and usb from unexpected places)
I wish good luck to throwpup in this beautiful project. I really look forward to DISC 2 and new updates i check itch.io often for it :)

Unfortunately couldn't hear any of the OST or SFX due to an issue with my PC's speakers.. but it's absolutely amazing, the art is unique, and while I wasn't expecting much as I grabbed it when Disc 1 was out for free.
I'm glad I did, will be patiently awaiting for Disc 2 and more!
This so far is an absolute amazing game. at first I wasn't too crazy about but I'm glad I stuck it out to.the end cuz this this game had me hooked quick at the end of disc 0. And disc 1 is even better. love the character designs, the overall design of the game is very interesting and unique. The soundtrack is also incredible btw really matches the atmosphere of the game. Can't wait for the other discs to come out. This game has a lot of potential to be one of the greats. Also I played this game on YouTube my reading is kinda terrible LMAO I tried my best. I do really like the game tho

genuinely one of the best visual novels ive ever played, the story so far is intriguing and insanely intricate, the characters are well written and feel alive. the music is similarly amazing and ive relistened to it multiple times. i cannot overstate just how amazing this is and i cant wait for further discs :D

I just finished disc 1 and it was soooooo cool!! First thing that grabbed my attention when I opened the game was aesthetic, how well music, backgrounds, gui, characters completed each other!
I really, really loved characters! The way the conversations with them felt natural and how realistic they were - their problems, realtionships, their personalities, the way they acted. Also I have to mention how caring Uphie is????????? She is so lovely and thoughtful-- like when Tsurine holds a sharp object and Uphie offers to put it away for her for her own good. Or when she explains situation when Tsurine is confused-- I can't, she is such an great person :'3
Others are great as well! Like Primat - even if you can talk with her for a pretty short time, you can grasp what person she is nonetheless! And thats impressive; to show so much of her personality in one scene! The same with Jicca~ Even if she might seem 'like a robot', she feels very real. And Leida - I liked her even from just reading her messages, so this is impressive character writing once again xD
Ooh, and worldbuilding!! I've read the map and all the USB I found and whoa, it makes me feel like I'm looking into a world where characters are living their lives. I'm not very good with words, but I mean it feels real!! Like not something made up, but something well thought! And I think this is awesome!! And idea with hospital-like world is sOOO COOL, I LOVE IT!!
Alsooooo I really liked music!! And atmosphere is amazing, I love it! AND HBHSBJABDJHBW don't let me forget about mentioning one of my favorite parts!! Horror elements are made so well????? Like so very well?????? Like the scene in elevator-- You can just feel the anxiety from your monitor!! I feel that later, when plot develops more, there will be even more amazing scenes like that, and I'm really looking forward to it! (On the other hand I don't want Tsu to suffer aaa)
Last thing I wanted to talk is some sort of bug(?) maybe?? Sometimes when I was in shop or menu cursor wasn't visible. It is nothing serious, but it made navigating a little more difficult. Also I think it would be pretty handy if backlog was a little longer and/or had shortcut. Lastly if there was a skip button for already read text, but these are only my suggestions :>

Throwup Club grabs you by your threat and submerges you in the surreal. Though the surreal evokes viciously real feelings in a good way.
Since its Yuri Day at the time of writing (25.06.2024) some things need to be mentioned:
- The cast is girls only
- The girls are people not characters and you need to treat them as such
- There are plenty of romance options but you need to commit (which is a plus in my book)

This is legitimately one of the best VNs I've ever played, and I highly recommend it to anyone who stumbles upon it. Also join the discord! The community is super duper cool and there's tons of theorizing that goes on in there.
Take the time to explore and go off the beaten path. The fastest way to the end is by listening to the narration and objectives, but the best way to play the game is to click basically everything all the time everywhere.
Go play it. It's very good.

It should be available in 10-20 minutes on my drive.It is now avalible!I do not own a mac though, so I'm unable to test it to see if it works or has issues, and if it does, I'm unable to fix them.
Though I can advise that if you don't see a tooltip appear during the Difficulty Select screen, or in the inventory- go into the Options menu and click the 'Tooltips' text until it says "Tooltips appear in the upper left corner" It'll fix a bug I'm guessing you might run into on mac. But maybe not! Fingers crossed c:

One of the best point and click/VN's I've ever played. The characters are really well written to the point where it's likely to feel bad about their situations, furthermore the dialogue is amazing. Despite not being fully released the content already provided is enough to have you itching for more.

This was AMAZING !!! I'm not the kind to do a second replay right after finishing a game/novel but I sure will even before Disc1 because I missed a lot of achievements and (seeing some pictures) even some mechanics haha
EDIT: Really I'm baffled that no one ever let's-played it on youtube ; It's the most polished Dark-Menhera/Breakcore game, let alone visual novel in existence ! And I'm glad something like this exists !!

Heya, I'm glad you're really liking it! By sinicinize, do you mean translate it to Chinese? I'm a solo dev, and as much as I'd love to have a translated version of the game available, I'm afraid that won't be possible unless I can get a publisher, or the game is successful enough for me to afford translation. If either of those things happens, though, I'll absolutely be getting it translated for Chinese audiences :3
