the game is definitely a saturated lightshow, but i think it's uniquely special for it. make sure to take breaks if your eyes hurt! i have to take breaks from low contrast / low brightness games myself cause they give me bad headaches

My health condition is in a bit of a rocky stalemate at the moment, and I haven't really spoken at length here about it, so here's a bit of insight- the whole situation is complicated, but the short version is that I frequently get really bad infections that can and often do spread to my blood, becoming septic and deadly. This happens around twice a month, and I've been in a critical state and hospitalized quite a few times these last few years due to it. There's one last abdominal surgery I can get that could either fix this whole issue outright, or just as easily do something awful that would kill me.
So I'm in a weird kinda limbo atm fighting off sepsis, but I'm too scared to risk the surgery. I also can't have a port or stay in a hospital or have a home nurse due to a severe mast cell condition I have, so I have to do my antibiotics, ivs and the like by myself. Could fight it for several years and finish my game, or I could kick the bucket in a week if I got unlucky. Infections are finnicky. Sometimes I know right away and can be treated, and other times they sneak up on me and become sepsis before I realize I even have one. Imagine flipping a coin three times in a row every two weeks, and if you get three heads, you die. It's sorta like that. So I don't have a definite due date, but it's spontaneous and I don't know if that's better or worse.
I'm doing everything I can to prolong things, and I'm doing much better now than I was when I first started fighting it. I think I might try for the surgery after the first game is released. So maybe sometime early next year?
I hope that you will live a happy life after you find an alternative or even try the surgery. In the end I think everything will get better as time passes.
There's unfortunately no alternatives left outside this last surgery; but it's not over till it's over, and things could definitely work out for me. Just gotta keep holding on to hope c:
Is there a new version of Disc 1 coming out? I paid for the game to get access to everything whenever its ready, but I'm seeing a lot of people talk about having already played Disc 1 and I can't find a link to download it anywhere.
Yes! Before I had proper artists in early 2024, I used placeholders I made from photoshopping images to release D0, and also later release D1 on itch in the hopes of attracting one. It worked! So as soon as that happened, we worked on replacing everything, and released D0 again with Update 19! So Disc 1 has been previously released and reviewed by a lot of people, but is currently unavailable as we work to redo all the art and animate various scenes. In addition to the art, the re-releases also have additional content for people who've already played them. The vast majority of the reviews on this game were made by people who've played D1 already!
HiiiiIII. I played the new update on my channel. I absolutely love the new art and the overall look of this game. I played an older version of this game I while back so it's pretty cool seeing how much it's improved since then. I can't wait to see the rest of game.
yes, lots! there's only one very minor instance of puke in this current release (a little itty bitty one that's noised over) but as the game continues it will feature more and more vomit, including some really explicit and graphic scenes.
I love this game so much it takes up real estate in my brain like I pass by this place that has the word hydroponics on it and my head is like "!!". I fr wish the best for this game and all the lovely ppl involved in its creation, throwup club unironically is such a blessing and that tw list got me like ?! HELLOOO like CHILDBIRTH??? regardless congrats on the notable impact on my brain and if anyone can tell me what the flip is a puffado (i'm not getting that name wrong right?? it's like the thing jicca fed tsurine otw to sterlie in disc 1) thank you cuz it's like the one food in this game i genuinely can't tell if i'd eat or not. yes to the heart burster btw. no to the loopworm vaccine.

I recently finished DISC 1 and i can certainly say that Throwup Club became one of my favourite games ever. In visual novel genre it already became one of the best in my opinion. The story is immersive,all characters are lovable and interesting,the music is enjoyable and the attention in details is a nice surprise for me(getting items and usb from unexpected places)
I wish good luck to throwpup in this beautiful project. I really look forward to DISC 2 and new updates i check itch.io often for it :)

Unfortunately couldn't hear any of the OST or SFX due to an issue with my PC's speakers.. but it's absolutely amazing, the art is unique, and while I wasn't expecting much as I grabbed it when Disc 1 was out for free.

This so far is an absolute amazing game. at first I wasn't too crazy about but I'm glad I stuck it out to.the end cuz this this game had me hooked quick at the end of disc 0. And disc 1 is even better. love the character designs, the overall design of the game is very interesting and unique. The soundtrack is also incredible btw really matches the atmosphere of the game. Can't wait for the other discs to come out. This game has a lot of potential to be one of the greats. Also I played this game on YouTube my reading is kinda terrible LMAO I tried my best. I do really like the game tho

genuinely one of the best visual novels ive ever played, the story so far is intriguing and insanely intricate, the characters are well written and feel alive. the music is similarly amazing and ive relistened to it multiple times. i cannot overstate just how amazing this is and i cant wait for further discs :D

I just finished disc 1 and it was soooooo cool!! First thing that grabbed my attention when I opened the game was aesthetic, how well music, backgrounds, gui, characters completed each other!
I really, really loved characters! The way the conversations with them felt natural and how realistic they were - their problems, realtionships, their personalities, the way they acted. Also I have to mention how caring Uphie is????????? She is so lovely and thoughtful-- like when Tsurine holds a sharp object and Uphie offers to put it away for her for her own good. Or when she explains situation when Tsurine is confused-- I can't, she is such an great person :'3
Others are great as well! Like Primat - even if you can talk with her for a pretty short time, you can grasp what person she is nonetheless! And thats impressive; to show so much of her personality in one scene! The same with Jicca~ Even if she might seem 'like a robot', she feels very real. And Leida - I liked her even from just reading her messages, so this is impressive character writing once again xD
Ooh, and worldbuilding!! I've read the map and all the USB I found and whoa, it makes me feel like I'm looking into a world where characters are living their lives. I'm not very good with words, but I mean it feels real!! Like not something made up, but something well thought! And I think this is awesome!! And idea with hospital-like world is sOOO COOL, I LOVE IT!!
Alsooooo I really liked music!! And atmosphere is amazing, I love it! AND HBHSBJABDJHBW don't let me forget about mentioning one of my favorite parts!! Horror elements are made so well????? Like so very well?????? Like the scene in elevator-- You can just feel the anxiety from your monitor!! I feel that later, when plot develops more, there will be even more amazing scenes like that, and I'm really looking forward to it! (On the other hand I don't want Tsu to suffer aaa)
Last thing I wanted to talk is some sort of bug(?) maybe?? Sometimes when I was in shop or menu cursor wasn't visible. It is nothing serious, but it made navigating a little more difficult. Also I think it would be pretty handy if backlog was a little longer and/or had shortcut. Lastly if there was a skip button for already read text, but these are only my suggestions :>

Omg, yesssss i absolutely loved it!! I played it asap after seeing announcement about release, and even today I was replaying some parts to see if i can get more achievements xD it is amazing how just from playing it you can feel how much heart and soul was put into! All new art is so well done, discovering changes in character designs, backgrounds, ui and in some scenes was a blast! I'm so looking forward to next discs, you did awesome job!!!! <33

if you hit ESC or middle mouse click, it'll pull up the menu, and from there there should be a save option. just click on any of the save slots and it should be saved c:
Somehow I missed that hnnn. Thanks for letting me know! And truly, having finished disc 0 and now onto disc 1, this game is truly special, hands-down one of the best I've played on here period!
